ACI says that proposed New York State legislation calling for packaging changes in liquid laundry packets is unnecessary because there are already comprehensive activities taking place addressing the safety of the products.

ACI’s Board of Directors re-elected Rutger Beelaerts, General Manager Intermediates Americas, Shell Chemical LP, as its Chair, and elected Sundar Raman, Vice President, North America Fabric Care, Procter & Gamble, as Vice Chair. A slate of Board members were also elected during ACI’s Annual Meeting.​

Ernie Rosenberg, who served as ACI’s President & CEO for 17 years, is the recipient of the special ACI Chairman’s Award, recognizing his outstanding leadership of the association for the cleaning product supply chain

Tom O’Brien, a leader with more than three decades of experience in the chemical and cleaning product supply chains – including many years with Sasol – is the 2018 recipient of the ACI Elva Walker Spillane Distinguished Service Award.

ACI launched “Exploration Clean”, an online experience aimed at teaching middle-school students the science and chemistry behind cleaning.
