The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) is partnering with the National Parent Teachers Association (PTA) to sponsor and moderate a December 8 panel discussion on the challenges schools and families are facing this school year when it comes to staying safe and healthy—and also cleaning, disinfecting and hand hygiene best practices, with actionable advice for school staff and parents.

During the National PTA Learning Lab, join experts both from the school health community and the cleaning product sector which makes the products we rely on to clean and disinfect, for a robust panel discussion. The conversation will cover maintaining proper hygiene despite pandemic fatigue and will be useful for parents no matter how their children are learning this year (virtual, in-school or both).

The Learning Lab, “Commit to Clean – How Hygiene is Critical to Healthy Schools,” will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at noon Eastern. Register now for free.

As schools continue to navigate reopening plans amid rising COVID-19 cases, hygiene is a key component of illness prevention. In addition to this Learning Lab, ACI has several resources available to help reinforce hand hygiene and cleaning practices in schools, including an on-demand webinar with CDC experts and a toolkit with resources and checklists to communicate these critical messages to the school community.
