Corey Brooks Pace is the Director, Legal Affairs. He is responsible for managing the Institute’s legal affairs to maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and works with the Institute’s leadership to identify and take the appropriate measures to mitigate legal and related risks in the operations of ACI. He also provides legal counsel on all contract matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts with various consultants, vendors, and partners.
Prior to joining the American Cleaning Institute in May of 2022, Corey has had a variety of legal positions more recently serving as the Faculty Director for Paralegal Studies at Georgetown University where he taught Contract and Business Law. Additionally, he worked in white-collar crime defense at Baker McKenzie in Vienna, Austria during the summer between his 2L and 3L year. Previously, he worked as a paralegal for 9 years in two northern Virginia family law firms.
Corey earned his JD and LLM in Taxation from the University of Baltimore School of Law (MD), and his BS in Sociology from Radford University (VA).
