Communications & Outreach Committee

Provides advice and counsel on communication and outreach messages, programs and activities on behalf of the ACI membership. These efforts showcase the value and benefits of cleaning products and their chemistries, inform the public about the safe and proper use of products and demonstrate the industry’s commitment to sustainability.

Convention Committee

Provides strategic direction and support in the planning and development of the ACI Annual Meeting and Industry Convention.

Future Leaders Board

A change agent tasked with keeping ACI on the cutting edge and relevant to rising generations. The Future Leaders Board provides development and opportunity for industrywide engagement and leadership to young professionals within the ACI membership.

Government Affairs Committee

Identifies issues of concern and develops policies and strategies to advance the legislative and regulatory interests of the industry before federal, state, and local governments.

International Committee

Identifies and prioritizes international human, environmental and regulatory initiatives that require action by our industry and develops and coordinates ACI’s responses as appropriate.

Legal Committee

Provides support to the General Counsel in protecting the legal interests of the Institute and its Board of Directors. Provides consultation and advice on legal matters relating to ACI programs, administration and governance.

Oleochemical Committee

Oversees and sets policy and priorities for ACI programs on oleochemicals.

Research Technology & Regulation Committee

Ensures the generation of timely, sound, technical information to address human health and safety, environmental safety and technology issues related to cleaning products and their ingredients and ensures that the Association responds to relevant regulatory proposals.

Strategic Advisory Committee

Serve as a clearinghouse for potential Institute priorities identified by the ACI Standing Committees and member surveys, and to advise the Board of Directors and President of the Institute to assure that the near-term and long-range business interests of ACI members are fully considered in the development and implementation of ACI activities and programs, to support implementation of the Strategic Plan, and to make such necessary reports to the Board.

Sustainability Committee

Develops a proactive and bold ACI sustainability program that will allow ACI members to continue to be seen as a proactive industry that is environmentally and socially responsible.
