Sustainability Masthead New

ACI Sustainability Central

Sustainability is one of the three main objectives of the American Cleaning Institute. To us, the definition of sustainability is the ability to improve the quality of life for this and future generations by creating products that promote hygiene and cleanliness, are environmentally sound, and are economically successful. ACI and our member companies are committed to a mission that endeavors to benefit society and improve the quality of life through hygiene and cleanliness by driving sustainability improvements across our industry and throughout the supply chain.

The Charter for Sustainable Cleaning is a voluntary lifecycle-based framework that promotes a common industry approach to sharing and reporting best practices for sustainability. Companies participating in the Charter demonstrate their commitment to continuous improvement of key aspects of sustainability across all stages of the cleaning product supply chain.
