2012 Fall Meeting
2012 Fall Meeting: Eileen Moyer, Givaudan Fragrances Corporation,  Donna Hillebold, AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry and Catherine de Lacy, The Clorox Company.

The ACI Fall Meeting gathered members from 21companies to discuss the Institute's program updates and priorities. Clive Davies, Chief of the Design for the Environment Program (DfE) in the Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gave a presentation on the EPA's Design for the Environment Program. Bess Bezirgan, Senior Vice President, OgilvyEngage, gave a presentation: Leveraging the Science of Behavior Change to Build Consumer Campaigns.

Members also attended a Special Reception at the United States Botanic Gardens hosted by the International Fragrance Association North America (IFRA) and Christophe Laudamiel of the Academy of Perfumery and Osmotheque Conservatory. The reception provided guests with an interactive scent experience, presented only for the second time in the United States.

2011 Fall Meeting Recap

The ACI Fall Meeting gathered members from 28 companies to discuss the Institute’s priorities at the Sofitel in Washington, DC. The work of the ACI Standing Committees continued on strategic priorities including Outreach, Sustainability and Chemical Management.

All of the meeting materials are available to members on the Members Only Website. The Standing Committees will meet again in January during the 2012 ACI Annual Convention.


2010 Fall Meeting Recap

Fall Meeting PhotoThe American Cleaning Institute® Fall Meeting gathered 30 member companies in Washington, DC to continue the work of the Institute on Outreach, Sustainability and Chemical Management. A special session on TSCA was presented by Blake Biles and Larry Culleen of Arnold & Porter, LLP to a standing room only room. A presentation by Joby Carlson of Arizona State University, updated members on the work of the Sustainability Consortium’s Home and Personal Care Working Group.
