Six Executives Join ACI Board of Directors
Six executives from major cleaning product manufacturers and suppliers have joined the Board of Directors of the American Cleaning Institute. Representatives of BASF, Evonik, GOJO, Huntsman, Phoenix Brands, and Procter & Gamble were elected to two-year terms, joining 19 other executives who were re-elected to the Board. Shell Chemical’s Robert Chouffot and Amway’s Catherine Ehrenberger return as Chair and Vice Chair, respectively. (read more)
New Leadership Elected for ACI Board
Eric Schwartz, General Manager, Laundry & Home Care, Henkel Consumer Goods; and Cynthia Bryant, Director of Business Development and Marketing, Household Care Division, Novozymes, were elected at the ACI Board’s November 2011 meeting in Washington, D.C. (read more)

Robert Chouffot, General Manager Higher Olefins & Derivatives at Shell Chemical LP, is the 2011 Chair of ACI’s Board of Directors. He was elected at the Board’s January 28 meeting, succeeding 2010 Chair Jane Hutterly, who recently retired from SC Johnson.
The 2011 Vice Chair is Catherine Ehrenberger, VP, R&D, Quality and Regulatory, Amway. Thomas O’Brien, General Manager, Organics, Sasol Olefins & Surfactants GmbH, is the new Treasurer. (read more)

Three new members were appointed to one-year terms to fill vacancies on the Board:
- Nancy Vincent, Business Director, Care Surfactants & Alcohols, North America, BASF Corp. (Ms. Vincent previously was the Board member from Cognis Corp., which was recently acquired by BASF.)
- Richard Conti, Chief Operating Officer - North America Markets, SC Johnson.
- Craig Slavtcheff, Senior Vice President, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, The Sun Products Corporation.
