  • Feb. 1 Session: Future of Cleaning: Sustainable Feedstocks
  • ACI Convention Set for Jan. 30-Feb. 4, Orlando, FL

Experts from BASF, Novozymes and Sasol will discuss emerging technologies aimed at making cleaning product feedstocks more sustainable, including bio-based and recycled feedstocks, contributing to a new generation of ingredients, during the Future of Cleaning session at the 2023 American Cleaning Institute (ACI) Industry Convention.

As the cleaning product supply chain looks to develop more sustainable ingredients, the raw materials that go into products are being examined more closely. To ensure products are delivering performance as well as sustainability, a new generation of ingredients is at hand.

ACI’s panelists will discuss current demands as well as the direction of emerging ingredient technologies including the expansion of bio-based ingredients and opportunities in advanced recycling to meet the growing need for sustainable feedstocks. The panel will also discuss the business case for a new generation of cleaning product ingredients, how to incorporate them into existing supply chains and chemistries at scale, as well as the barriers and opportunities that exist.

The Future of Cleaning: Sustainable Feedstocks will take place February 1 during ACI’s Convention Week, January 30-February 4, 2023 at the Grande Lakes Orlando in Orlando, Florida.
