WASHINGTON, D.C., November 20, 2012 – During the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, consumers are busy shopping, baking and decorating – but we still need to find the time to care for our clothes.

The American Cleaning Institute® (ACI – is hosting a free webinar Wednesday, December 5 to share practical information about laundry products, practices and better living.

The webcast starts at 1:00 PM Eastern Time. Interested participants can sign-up for the event at​ces.

“The American Cleaning Institute is focused on helping consumers keep an eye on safe use and storage of laundry products during the holiday season, when multi-tasking is front and center,” said Nancy Bock, ACI Senior Vice President of Education.

“ACI is committed to working in partnership with all parents, educators, healthcare professionals, federal agencies, Extension and Family & Consumer Science professionals, and other partners to remind consumers about the safe and proper use and storage of laundry detergents in the home,” said Bock.

The webinar will feature experts from ACI, The Dow Chemical Company, Henkel Consumer Goods Inc., and The Procter & Gamble Company.

Webinar registrants will have an opportunity to have a laundry basket of products or a gift card delivered to them or their favorite charity before December 25.
