Nancy Bock is a Senior Vice President at the American Cleaning Institute® (ACI). She is a recognized leader in consumer affairs, outreach, communications, external relations, and partnership development and family and consumer sciences. For the past 35 years, she has been dedicated to designing campaigns, programs and materials that provide better living for individuals, families and communities.

She is passionate about her work in education and has earned a credible reputation working with stakeholders. Anyone who has worked with her, knows that she has mastered the art of uniting the interests’ of multiple groups around common goals, to produce collaborative programs that are strategic, budget driven and of the highest quality. In recent years, Ms. Bock has been a leader in developing partnerships with key organizations including The Sustainability Consortium, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Clean the World, American Society for Microbiology, National Education Association, American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences, Family, Career and Community Leaders of American, Cleaning for a Reason, National Poison Prevention Week and the Coin Laundry Association.

She is responsible for developing, managing and measuring the success of all consumer education programs and outreach activities for the American Cleaning Institute. She has published more than 200 educational tools during her tenure at ACI and has reached over one billion consumers since joining the ACI team.

Nancy also provides the leadership for all ACI member meetings. She provides the strategic direction for the meetings and manages the budget and contracts as well as all vendor relations. She has grown the revenue stream for the Annual Convention for the past 10 years and routinely delivers an event that earns a 95%+ performance rating on the overall Convention. She created ACI’s Quack for a Reason charity duck race that has raised more than $200,000 for Cleaning for a Reason®. She successfully moved the Annual Meeting to a new venue after 37 years at the same property and registration has increased each year since the move.

She has served on numerous advisory committees and boards and currently serves on the Cleaning for a Reason Board of Directors, Clean the World Board of Directors, Family, Career & Community Leaders of America Board of Directors, the WVU Visiting Committee and the Leading Authorities Event Advisory Board. She has received numerous awards for her educational programs.

Her multi-faceted work experience includes county, state and federal government (Department of Agriculture), faculty positions at two land grant universities (Cooperative Extension Service), non-profit associations (American Chemical Society and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) and business and industry (American Cleaning Institute).

Ms. Bock has a B.S and a M.S. degree in Education from West Virginia University.
