Ceara Nicole Flake
Assistant General Counsel
Ms. Flake is a licensed attorney in the District of Columbia, Tennessee and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She matriculated through top-tier programs at Georgetown University Law Center where she acquired her J.D. and Denison University where she earned her B.A. magna cum laude.
Prior to joining the American Cleaning Institute as Director of Legal Affairs, Ms. Flake’s comprehensive legal background included service in the judiciary, private practice and academia. As a judicial law clerk, she advised on matters before local and federal courts of the U.S. Virgin Islands. In private practice, both in Washington, DC and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Ms. Flake advocated on behalf of individuals and corporations to ensure equal justice and fair play in business. She also provided legal support for high-stakes merger and acquisition transactions and securities matters. In academia, Ms. Flake has taught legal courses at Howard University and the David A. Clarke School of Law.
Ms. Flake has maintained an active presence in public service and community development. She is a former U.S. Senatorial aide and congressional caucus intern. Ms. Flake’s community affiliations include faith-based nonprofit organizations and educational associations with national and international reach.
