The IIVS 2010 In Vitro Alternatives Forum
All Day Event
This meeting will focus on toxicity testing challenges and the current activities designed to meet them.
ACI is pleased to co-sponsor this event. In addition, Dr. Francis Kruszewski will be making a poster presentation entitled, “Use Of Read-Across Of Existing Hazard Data To Fulfill HPV Chemical Program Requirements Significantly Reduces Chemical Testing” by F. H. Kruszewski 1,, P. C. DeLeo , K. Stanton , and R. Sedlak (American Cleaning Institute).
The Forum agenda includes:
• Overview and comments on TSCA reauthorization
• Advancements in the area of 21st Century Toxicity Testing
• Activities of international organizations (e.g. ECVAM, COLIPA)
• Approaches to identify skin sensitizers
• New in vitro approaches utilizing 3D tissue models
