Health Policy
ACI’s engagement on health policies encompasses all aspects of human health, which is determined by physical, chemical and biological factors. These policies address in theory and in practice the assessment, correction, control, and prevention of those factors in the environment that can potentially adversely affect the health of present and future generations. Beyond direct exposure during use, water, air, soil and sediment sources are integral aspects of human health assessments. Protection of environmental and human health is obviously an imperative feature of sustainability and a commitment by ACI and its members.
