ACI Science logo 1

ACIScience.org serves as a publicly-available repository of outcomes from ACI's research and technical programs. Check out ACIScience.org for detailed research and scientific studies that support the formulation and use of cleaning and hygiene products and ingredients.

"What's in it?" - ACI's Ingredient Communication Initiative

You can find more information than ever before about cleaning product ingredients at ACI’s "What’s in it?" website. There you’ll find links to ACI members’ websites posting the ingredients in their household cleaning products. Click here if you’re a cleaning products manufacturer looking for information on how to participate in the initiative.

ACI’s High Production Volume Chemicals (HPV) Program

ACI has managed the compilation and development of hazard data on HPV oleochemicals and chemicals used as cleaning product ingredients for incorporation into publicly available databases. For more information please go http://www.aciscience.org/SponsoredHPVChemicals.aspx.

The Inventory features a list of more than 900 chemical ingredients used by ACI members to manufacture consumer cleaning products, including laundry care products (e.g., laundry detergents, fabric softeners), dish care products (automatic dish detergents, hand dish detergents) and hard surface cleaners. The Cleaning Product Ingredient Inventory is available on ACI’s Science website, www.ACIscience.org.
