Encouraging Proper Hand Hygiene In Schools
In the May 2012 webcast for CleanLink, Nancy Bock, M.S., Senior Vice President, Meetings & Education at the American Cleaning Institute talked about good hand hygiene as the best defense against the spread of infections, a message that can be challenging to promote to a student population. Getting children to wash hands effectively -- or to apply hand sanitizer -- is a critical task for both building service contractors and in-house custodial departments that service educational facilities. This webcast included:
- Identifying the soap, towels, hand dryers and hand sanitizer solutions to encourage proper hand hygiene in K-12 schools.
- Review the best places to install dispensers and dryers.
- Learn how to develop an effective hand washing campaign that encourages kids to wash their hands properly.
