ARA Workshop II: Beyond Science and Decisions: From Issue Identification to Dose-Response Assessment

ACI is a co-sponsor of this event along with several other industry trade associations.

The Alliance for Risk Assessment (ARA) has built a broad coalition of public, private, non-government organizations to support three workshops on dose-response modeling approaches: “Beyond Science and Decisions: From Problem Formulation to Dose Response.” These workshops are geared to address the
broader needs of the risk assessment community by developing specific dose-response assessment techniques for moving forward, building on the recent National Academy of Sciences (2009) report on improving risk assessment. The ultimate goal of the workshops is consensus among the participants on a guidance document highlighting key considerations for applying dose-response techniques for common risk assessment applications, and featuring illustrative case studies.
