ACI Supports School Nurses for More Than 15 Years

NASN 2015 Conference logoDuring the week of June 24th, 2015, Martha Chapin of the American Cleaning Institute® (ACI) exhibited at the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) Annual Meeting held in Philadelphia, PA. ACI has been exhibiting at the NASN Annual meeting for the past 15 years. During the three day meeting in Philadelphia, more than 1,200 attendees participated in workshops, hundreds of them came by the ACI booth and were engaged in conversations regarding the importance of proper handwashing for their students to keep them from missing school due to illness.

The attendees learned about ACI’s "Healthy Schools Healthy People, It’s a SNAP!" Program and how to work with their students to develop a handwashing campaign and earn national recognition and $5,000.00 for their schools! Talk about a win win! The school nurses were eager to learn about the program as they are committed to keeping children healthy, safe and in school so they can learn. The opportunity to be the difference is quite important to them as it is to the NASN body as a whole.
