ACI and AAFCS - Educating Consumers and Keeping Children Safe

AAFCS 2015 toolkitsFor 44 years the American Cleaning Institute® (ACI) has partnered with the American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) to help families make informed decisions about their well-being. During the week of June 25th, ACI’s Nancy Bock, Sr. VP of Education participated in the 106th Annual Conference & Expo of AAFCS in Jacksonville, FL. This was an exciting opportunity for ACI to meet with the 600 educators and consumer influencers from all over the United States who attended this Conference. Hundreds of AAFCS members visited the booth to get the new ACI Laundry Toolkit.

AAFCS 2015 exhibitACI also conducted a workshop titled Sustaining Child Safety in the Home with Proven Online Strategies that Drive Education and Engagement and shared updates from the cleaning products industry about liquid laundry packet safety and how to keep children safe and asked them to take the Key Pledge.

AAFCS provides vital leadership and support to professionals in communities throughout the country that support and educate consumers to make informed decisions to ensure families well-being and to enrich their lives. AAFCS members range from educators, business professionals, community volunteers, human services professionals and consultants, just to name a few. AAFCS also provides research based expertise in nutrition and wellness, human development, personal and family finance, food science, as well as other trending consumer issues.
