Since 1926, ACI has cooperated with schools, health agencies, industry and other organizations to get the job done. Over the years, our work has been possible because of our ability to build and sustain partnerships. Today, relationship building continues to be the backbone of ACI.
American Cleaning Institute is a proud supporter of the Cleaning For A Reason™ Foundation and their work to sustain cleanliness for women undergoing treatment for cancer and Clean the World, the largest global recycler of hotel soaps and bottled amenities. Since 2009, Clean the World has collected, recycled, and distributed more than 12 million soap bars in the United States, Canada, and more than 67 countries.
We collaborate with organizations in the U.S. including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; American Society of Microbiology; Partnership for Food Safety Education; National Coalition for Food Safe Schools; Family, Career and Community Leaders of America; Clean Hands Coalition; National Poison Prevention Week Council, American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences, Earth 911; GSA Federal Citizen Information Center and the National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences.
We have relationships with many organizations in other countries, including ABIPLA, ACCORD Australasia, AISE, JSDA, CCSPA, CANIPEC and IHPCIA through INCPA, CEFIC and its Sector Groups (e.g., CESIO and APAG). ACI also is active in the U.S. arm of the International Chamber of Commerce and the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD, and chairs the International Product Policy Working Group of the U.S. Council for International Business.
