The 2nd ICIS World Surfactant Conference will help manufacturers, formulators and users of surfactants along with suppliers to the industry understand and profit from these rapid changes.
Since the1st ICIS World Surfactants Conference in New York in May 2011, business has become even more interesting and challenging for suppliers and users of surfactants. Petrochemical and oleochemical feedstock pricing and volatility continue to present major challenges right across the value chain. In addition, sustainability of both oleochemical and petrochemical based products continues to pose significant challenges. Meanwhile, there is emerging a “third leg” to the surfactant supply chain in the form of potentially revolutionary technology that is enabling surfactant manufacture from a whole new range of bio-renewable feedstocks.
